We manufacture, supply & install specialist purpose made joinery, handmade in our Darlington workshop.

Fletcher Joinery specialises in purpose-made, traditional joinery manufacture and installation. All work is completed to the highest standard, and to the customer’s satisfaction. If there were any problems, we would be back to sort them out. Once jobs are started they are completed as soon as possible.

A friendly and professional team of highly skilled employees.

Our highly skilled employees are all fully trained to City & Guilds standard, and more recently the National Vocational Qualification. They have regular refreshment training in Manual Lifting, Abrasive Wheels, Safe erection, use and dismantling of Mobile Scaffold Towers, Health & Safety Awareness, Fire Marshaling and First Aid. All our work force are polite, courteous and mindful of safety at all times in both workshop and on site.

Accoya is a high-performance modified wood that has been chosen for its exceptional quality in widely varying environmental conditions around the world.

Accoya is now the most used timber here at Fletcher Joinery. Plus, all the timbers we use are FSC certified.

This company was a joy to deal with from the initial consultation, to the finishing touches of the project, Peter Fletcher was involved from the start, providing options, advice and absolutely no hard sell (unlike some companies who quoted for the work). The team, were like Peter, passionate about providing a first class installation, ensuring that the windows and door were perfect. They were a pleasure to have in the house, well mannered and so considerate of minimising the disruption for ourselves and neighbours. The quality of the carpentry was outstanding, the integrity of my period property protected, whilst navigating the security and energy efficiency of the glazing. The house is much warmer, and we can no longer hear the trains pass by. Peter organised everything from colour choices, door furniture, and even provided extra paint for the original woodwork around the vestibule. Upon reflection it felt like I was dealing with a company from years gone by, ethical, value driven, and committed until the finishing touches. I received a number of alternative quotations for the work, none of which were able to provide Accoya wood, and did not fill me with confidence that they were able to meet my expectations.I highly recommend Peter and his team, and I think the photographs speak for themselves, beautiful craftsmanship and a wonderful experience of a good old fashioned company, whom I have no doubt that their installations and delighted customers generate their repeat business. Great service. I rang Tony at 10am Friday to enquire about cutting the bottom of some doors to fit a new carpet. His men arrived at 1.20pm the same day and completed the job in little more than a hour. An excellent job. Well recommended.
